| Description |
English: Park Road, Cowes, Isle of Wight, on the Friday of Cowes Week 2010. The firework display had finished, and so the usual crawl of cars out of Cowes had begun. Traffic is slow moving, but does steadily progress, especially as traffic management systems have been put in place in recent years. This photo is taken at the Round House, and the cars are about to turn from Park Road into Place Road. One of the pieces of traffic managements was that access to Gurnard at the Round House was blocked off, so cars had to go onto Place Road. The Cowes-bound bus stop, named "Round House" is on the left. |
