English: The upper reservoir (Llyn Stwlan) and dam of the Ffestiniog Pumped Storage Scheme in north Wales. The four water turbines at the power station can generate 360 MW of electricity within 60 seconds of the need arising.
Taken by Adrian Pingstone in 1988 and released to the public domain.
Français : Le réservoir supérieur (Llyn Stwlan) et le barrage du "Ffestiniog Pumped Storage Scheme" dans le nord du Pays de Galles. Cette station de production (de faible puissance) dispose de quatre turbines hydrauliques génèrant 360 MW d'électricité dans les 60 secondes. La taille de l'ouvrage peut être jugée en la comparant à la voiture garée en dessous.
