I wish I was an expert, but I am not. I am just like everyone else and just needed to clean and deodorize some UGG boots and being I have done the process and can say it works then I guess maybe I am kinda like an expert in a way huh? OK expert is a bit much you're right.
So UGG Boots Outlet here is how the having to clean UGG boots started for me if you care to know. My daughter, who is 12 at the time, wanted a pair of UGG boots, ya know everyone has them - lol. Well being the frugal mom I am and the cost of the boots and her growing foot I was like no way will I get you a pair until your foot stops growing. Yup I said it and had flash backs of me growing up and hearing the same things - ahhh I turned http://www.riversidemediagroup.com/uggboots.asp into my parents.
Of course she was not deprived of the boot fashion and had many pairs of less expensive look alikes which I like to call Fuggs (Faux Uggs), but that just was not good enough - darn kids and labels. So this past holiday season I was pursuing Craigslist and came upon someone selling part of their UGG boot collection which happened to be the right size to fit my daughter. So after seeing the photo of what she was selling off and some negotiations (I am a born and raised New Yorker so I am good at that) I ended up getting 5 pairs for a total of, drum roll....$130. Crazy right I got 5 pairs for the price of 1. It was like I hit a gold mine.
When I met the girl for pick up she was in her early 20's and just needed to downsize her collection. I also did my research before hand to make sure what I was buying were not knock offs and the real deal and they were. 2 pairs were in brand new condition and the other 3 were a bit more worn, but not bad and just in need of a cleaning.
I felt like I hit the lottery and thought how this girl missed out on some big bucks for not just selling each pair on Ebay and make so much more money. But I did not know her financial situation and maybe she just needed quick cash or does not know how to use Ebay.
A happy dance was definitely in order and I knew my daughter would freak out getting 5 pairs of UGGs at Christmas. But I wanted to get them all clean and fresh. Now they did not smell at all, just needed a cleaning.

Here are the 3 pairs of UGGs I cleaned. I think the cleaning made a huge difference in each of them. It was not that hard to do, maybe a little time consuming but when you are spending that kind of money on boots (even though I did not - lol) I would hope one would put the care into them.

My daughter was one happy girl to open a box on Christmas filled with 5 pairs of UGGs. Those are her feet in the photo to the right modeling one of the pairs of Bailey Button UGGs that were like new from my great deal.
