Summary

Description
English: An inverse (by wavelength) representation of the visible light spectrum (i.e. linear by frequency). Colour ranges were taken from 'CRC Handbook of Fundamental Spectroscopic Correlation Charts.' (see w:Visible spectrum#cite_note-4) Except for violet (400nm), reference colour points were taken from here. Values at boundary edges are approximate frequency in THz. See image:Linear_visible_spectrum.svg for the procedure used to generate the gradient.
