Tractography

In mathematics, a Pick matrix, named after Georg Pick, is a matrix which occurs in the study of interpolation problems for analytic functions.

It is defined as

$P={\left[\frac{u_i^{*}{u}_i-v_j^{*}{v}_j}{1-f_i^{*}{f}_j}\right]}_{i,j=0}^{n-1}$

where $(u_i)$ and $(v_i)$ are column vectors of dimension $p$ and $q$, respectively; and z* denotes the complex conjugate of z. Here $f_i$ are complex numbers inside the unit circle. That is,

$\left|f_i\right|<1.$
