Few penny stock traders think what happens to their orders after they click the order button. Every time you click the order button, you set in motion a complex series of event that are designed to fill your order quickly and efficiently. Now, your stock broker is acting as an intermediary. What this means is that trade execution can vary from one broker to another.
Now the question is: Is trading a better option than investing? Do traders make more money than investors? The answer is No. While making quick money attracts many, it is the most dangerous way to make money in stock markets, since trading is nothing short of gambling. The only people who make money in stock trading are the ones who can devote their full attention to this task. They have the necessary traits like risk taking ability, time, discipline and monetary resources to do this job as a business.
Most people think of day trading stocks, and while that is one choice available, if you are going to trade on your own, the Forex or Futures markets are likely better alternatives since you can leverage your account more extensively than with stocks. This means it is less capital intensive, and you can therefore hopefully make a living off a smaller amount of capital.
There's a tricky balance between investing in stocks and staying solvent. Stockmarkets have a horrible tendency to tank just when you're most in need of money. Being forced to sell shares while the market is in a funk is a disaster, so having a balance between long-term debt and different sorts of investments is really important. By-the-way, short-term debt and stockmarket investment don't mix. Don't do it.
Next, read as much as you can and study every successful trader you can find. This means going to the library and reading up constantly on every single great trader and getting all the information in your head as possible. I spent the first couple months trading doing just this before placing a single trade, and even to this day still read up on it to improve my knowledge of the stock exchange.
Gold has always been a symbol of affluence. Gold is one metal that can last for a long time. In fact, in case you cast a gold ring you can be certain that it would retain its form for approximately 1000 years if not more. Moreover, it is one of the few metals that could keep rust off. This means that no matter how careless you are in caring for gold, you can be sure that rust would not mar its glitter. That is exactly the reason why most of the financial institutions have kept gold coins for sale. You could even buy silver bars and coins. Gold and silver are real equity.
